Very nice motel. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Located meters away from East Beach, where we could see dolphins swimming in the morning. :-) Friendly staff.

Palmoro is one of several buildings that are a part of the Mar Monte hotel (the unbound collection by Hyatt). The reception, pool, restaurant, gym and beach are located at the Mar Monte hotel which is a 7 minute walk or short golf cart ride away. The rooms are of the same standard as the Mar Monte and are large, thoughtfully decorated, clean and very comfortable. Bathrobes are provided in the wardrobe and complimentary tea and coffee is available in each room. Our room had a balcony and provided a lovely view of the Santa Barbra hills. While there is a train line close by, it is not busy and was hardly noticed with the heavy sliding doors. The accommodation is good value for its price point and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when next in the area.

We had everything we needed. The cleanliness was quite satisfactory. The hotel’s location is very nice. When we come back to Santa Barbara, we want to stay at this hotel again. Thank you

Free parking was great, room was nicely decorated. Also complimentary use of bikes, nice!!

The location; the view; lovely big comfortable beds

Thank you very much! Your hotel is one of the best hotels in Santa Barbara. Everything is at a high level! My family and I had a wonderful weekend on the occasion of my birthday! Thank you for your attention with a bottle of wine, cookies, and mineral water. It was very nice) Cleaned every day, breakfast was amazing, and the room was not small for a small hotel. the bathroom is spacious, and the floor is heated. In general, the hotel is excellent with a great location. Walking distance to various restaurants and to the zoo. service at a high level! Be prepared for a $28 parking fee, but it's a totally normal price for how well they do it. We've been to other hotels where the parking fee was higher, but we didn't get the same service as this hotel.

Great location really nice friendly staff Boutique style hotel

Fantastic location, very well prepared room with ample facilities for the purpose of stay. Great for overnights or even 2 or 3 days, just keep in mind with the size of the room. The high ceilings made the room feel larger than it actually was and the staff was very attentive. Just keep in mind the hotel operates mostly as a "staff less" property, with staff mainly involved with the cafe and bar. Still 100% reachable through text. They also had first come first serve bike rentals with complimentary helmets which made it really nice to get around downtown - just make sure you lock the bike properly, bike theft is definitely prevalent and we are sure someone tried to take them at one point! Pourover coffee setup in the room was a definite plus!

The staff was helpful and friendly

This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time. Wow! Stunning views, great food, lovely staff.

Very beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens. We loved the history of the place. Our cottage was very comfortable. The lady on reception was so friendly and helpful. We had such a nice time staying at the Upham.

We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel! Free parking, lovely garden with heated pool, refrigerator and a microwave oven in the room. The room was so clean and fresh, felt almost new. Would definitely come back again!
