Ocala was beautiful.
Ocala was beautiful. We loved driving the roads and seeing all the greenery & big beautiful trees all around. The location is great for visiting Silver Springs and the WEC, though we never made it to see either. This is one reason we needed more time. We found an excellent sushi place & went 2 days in a row. If you love sushi, but don't want to be disappointed, go to Tony's!

The beds were TERRIBLE. Too hard... WAY too hard!
The pillows were too SOFT - too squishy, almost not existent.
The view - was the parking lot - so it's fine.
The bathroom - did not have a hair dryer available. But the bathroom, itself, was fine
Very clean facilities, except for the three items left in the window sill from another customer.
The noise level was fine - no loud noises
Restaurants were close and many to choose from for dinner.

We stayed in Ocala, Fl at a townhouse which was perfect for us. It was located close to lots of restaurants, Walmart, Silver Springs which we enjoyed the glass bottom boat tour & only 30 minutes to Juniper Springs which we enjoyed the 7 mile kayaking and swimming.

Everything was exceptional.
Everything was exceptional. Easy instructions to check in, house squeaky clean, host communication fast, soft towels, & bedding perfectly clean and comfortable. House felt like a 4 star hotel with all the little extras provided for you just in case you had forgotten something, down to a toothbrush and toothpaste. Even a few things in the kitchen like coffee, creamer, & a couple little liquor shooters (kind of like a minibar) in the freezer as an extra little treat. Oh and can’t forget the board games & card games just in case you needed some extra entertainment! This host thought of everything to make us comfortable during our stay! This is pinned for one of our absolute repeat staycation rentals for some local time away from home while feeling at home… and we can’t wait for the next visit, just saving up the funds to be able to stay longer! Only thing missing was some outdoor seating, lounging area, or fire pit. However this house seemed so newly listed it very well may already be in the works for the future!

Ocala is a very busy and weird place on one side you have...
Ocala is a very busy and weird place on one side you have nothing but horses and farms and traffic and on the other side you've got drug addicts criminals and Farms with lots of traffic you can't get anywhere it's ridiculous it's like being in Fort Lauderdale there's nothing to do except a few things. One of the best places is the zipline Park that's pretty amazing and they run all sorts of specials the Springs are nice Rainbow River is nice there are amazing sunsets and sunrises from really anywhere. Shalom Park is very nice.

Cute downtown with lots of restaurants and shops. I’ve lived near Tampa my whole life and Ocala was just a spot off the highway when driving north. We stayed 3 days for a volleyball tournament at the WEC and I really wished I had more time to spend exploring Ocala. Lots of land and horses. Small town vibe that I remember growing up with in Pasco that has over the years been taken away by population growth and urban crawl.
There are lots of Mexican restaurants, western wear stores, and also lots of modern chains if you want to grab something more “city ish”. The historic downtown from what I got to experience was vibrant and busy with parking hard to find because of so many people downtown.

One of the best hotel experiences I ever had. The place is new, clean and fresh. Social hours are really great idea. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The reception area is also really nice. Swimming pool was an additional bonus.
