The stay was everything I expected. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The room was clean and comfortable. I value cleanliness and I was not disappointed. I would not hesitate to stay at the Blue Iguana again!

We booked this property from Europe on the basis of pictures etc and hoped we had got it right! It absolutely exceeded all our expectations! Our two bedroom cottage was a delight with its own private courtyard. The swimming pool was exactly right. Everywhere was very private with beautiful laid out gardens. It was situated in easy reach of the town centre which was an utter delight too and do make sure you visit the Taft gardens.

Cute little town. Libbey Park is epic.

Cute little town. Libbey Park is epic. Amazing that just about every shop sold dresses and knick-knacks. Restaurants were not really great. We weren't looking for fine dining, but there was nothing distinct about any of the places we went or food we ate. A few good restaurants would attract me back more often.

Ojai is a fun little town.

Ojai is a fun little town. It does get hot in the summer months so be prepared. We did not go on any of the hiking trails but would like to do that next time. We did go to the Ojai Olive Co and had a nice little olive oil tasting outside amongst the olive trees. Nice setting.

Great place to visit - full of good shops and places to eat.

Great place to visit - full of good shops and places to eat. Lots to do in the area too. Very easy to get to from LA too. We visited in the spring and temperatures were in the upper 20C and apparently very hot in the summer. And yes we would go back anytime - so much we didn’t have time to do

Bart's Books. The Duchess for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Topa Topa Brewing. Ojai Pub - friendly people and live music, and so close to the Inn. Highly Likely is also a nice spot. Riding bikes on the trail that weaves through town and beyond.

The restaurant our group went to for our celebration was amazing, there were folks getting bussed from as far away as Santa Barbara and the fancy hotel, we were walking distance, The Duchess, doesnt look like much from the street, yet it has big open rooms at the back, and a patio, our group was at the back. The wait staff were excellent, and the food was a mild indian fusion, have the chick peas and the beef, it was our set menu and was finished off with a delicious selection of homemade cookies!

The water pressure in the shower was amazing, better than most places that we have stayed. The weather was a bit chilly to jump in the pool but we would like to come back when it is warmer to enjoy the pool & grass area & relax. Sauna was nice too,

We only stayed for a night but really enjoyed this little hideaway. Perched on top of a small hill, the hotel offered a quiet respite from the town below. There's a lovely patio with fireplace overlooking the valley - perfect for enjoying the evening and looking at the stars. There's also a lovely waterfall/pond feature. Lots of birds and bunnies hanging around. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental but had several good options.

A good base for exploring Ojai while we were in town for a wedding. Decor was a little tired but the room was spacious & the beds were comfy. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
