Great stay for a family of 5. Spacious and very clean rooms!

Great stay for a family of 5. Spacious and very clean rooms! Our shower had a tiny window at the top that you could open and feel the fresh morning air while you showered. Comfortable beds, and windows that opened for a nice breeze at night. The best thing about our stay was the breakfast! Delicious and homemade options, such as breakfast casserole, homemade biscuits, and very good coffee (nice and hot!). The room was equipped with a microwave, a mini fridge and lots of towels, even towels to go enjoy the hot springs!

Small mountain town at 8,000 feet surrounded by much higher mountains. It has a historic downtown as it use to be a mining town. It is now known for Ice Climbing, natural Hot Springs and 4 wheel driving

Perfect location between Telluride and Silverton.

Perfect location between Telluride and Silverton. Beautiful mountains and many hot springs. The drive to Silverton has some of the most breathtaking views. And in town, the Alchemy Museum was such a great visit!

Very scenic with plenty of nice drives to take around to see...

Very scenic with plenty of nice drives to take around to see different views of this southwest part of Colorado. Limited food options in town, but enough to provide variety for my wife and I for 3 days. Nice waterfall in town and very easy to get to. If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle (we drive a 4runner but saw other types of trucks F150 etc) take the drive on last dollar road. This will dump you into Telluride, but the view from the top is amazing! A mellower drive that any vehicle can make but still has some amazing views is the Owl Creek Pass road.

The restaurants all had significant wait times; it is very touristy in the summer. The food was fine, but every restaurant seemed to be understaffed. Unfortunately, we never made it into the Hot Springs pool because of rain, hail, and lighning, so of course they had to clear it out. But the town is very old, very historic, very scenic. Worth a visit.

Ouray Is a beautiful town!! The hot Springs are very close.

Location in downtown Ouray. Decent breakfast selection including waffles, oatmeal, cereal, a rotating hot egg-based dish, fruits, yoghurt, breads (but no ham and cheese to put on it), muffins. Afternoon happy hour featuring wine and lovely cookies. Quiet A/C in the room.
