Quick checking even with the line of people. Rooms are spacious and the bed was great. Very clean. Free wine tasting. Dinner was delicious and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! The homemade pastries were so yummy! The staff was so positive even as people continued to pour in the door as the storm kept on. They really tried to accommodate everyone. Fabulous place to stay!

Wonderful wineries, beautiful scenery. The Lower Rim trail in Palisade was worth the effort. We had a GREAT dinner at Peche in downtown Palisade. The Sunday Farmers' Market had a wide selection of local fruits, vegetables, preserves, baked goods and art. Palisade is a small town, and it's easy to find your way around.
Beautiful setting and visiting the wineries is fun. Particularly recommend taking a picnic lunch to one with an outdoor area (weather permitting). Close to Colorado National Monument for other sightseeing or hiking options. The biggest detriment to staying in Palisade is the lack of good eating establishments.
Very cute little town.....lots of great vineyards and wine tasting...fabulous peaches everywhere....dont stay in Grand Junction....nothing going on...a pass through to some place else !! PALISADE. A wonderful surprise.
Small town America with wonderful people. Get lost in the vineyards and peach orchards along with stunning Mountain View’s. Colorado National Mountain about 30 minutes away and great for hiking and exploring. Also hiking on Mt Garfield and the Rim trails.
Palisade has a wealth of fresh fruits, vegetables and handcrafted wines. The town is small but has a great bakery and coffees. It is a place to wander on the back roads to find the hidden gems from wine tasting to lavender farms to fresh fruit gown right in the orchard you are looking at.
Palisade Colorado is great weekend getaway destination. You can tour many wineries and sample a great variety of wine at the many wineries within a 20 mile range. Many fruit growers selling their local fruits. Great for biking or driving the 20 mile wine and fruit byway. The only negative is that there is only one hotel in Palisade and a few bed and breakfast at which to stay. On most summer weekends, rooms are not available unless booked early.
