It was also my hubby’s significant birthday and they upgraded our room and gave a few birthday surprises. So kind! Great location. Beautiful hotel, comfy beds, excellent staff at reception. Hotel has an elegant vibe and great view over city hall.
We loved Pasadena.

I liked Pasadena especially South Pasadena.
I liked Pasadena especially South Pasadena. It also has some really good restaurants and many quaint, older homes in wonderful charming neighborhoods. You may want to try out Piccadilly Grace. They have great food for breakfast and lunch. There is only outside eating. You can also order your food to go.

Pasadena is part of a large urban area with many conveniences and transportation options but I prefer to live in a rural environment where I know my neighbors and EVERY person is important and has a role to play in our community. I have lived in Pasadena and have family in the area and thankful that they and Altadena are rebuilding after the fires.

I grew up in Pasadena in the mid-1950s. I frequently return as my oldest daughter lives in Pasadena. Pasadena is home still, even though I spend most of my time in SLC or other parts of the US working.

Pasadena is a suburb to Los Angeles.
Pasadena is a suburb to Los Angeles. It has lots of character, and several choices of things to do. Even if what you want to do isn't in Pasadena, you wouldn't have to travel very far. It's not over crowded with people like Los Angeles. But it's close enough to do activities in Los Angeles. If your favorite band is playing at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena Ca., I suggest when you buy your tickets for the concert, you book your room immediately after, so you can take advantage and enjoy this beautiful city

The city center is very tightly packed with big bildings and many places not so nice to walk in - but it's a. big city of course.
I noticed many empty buildings - what's going to replace them or fill them?
I'd prefer to stay somewhere oj the eastern edge where things are more spread out and moire easily accessible, as we will do next time.

I grew up in Pasadena - it's one of the most beautiful suburbs of Los Angeles - home to Caltech, the Hubble Observatory, and the Huntington Gardens - if you're unfamiliar with any of those institutions I highly recommend a visit to Pasadena.
Old Town is also a good time.

Everything was very clean and well organized. The host is very friendly and very helpful. The bus station is just in front of the hotel. You can get to the center of Pasadena in just 2 min with the bus. The drop off bus station is on the other side of the road. I recommend.

Great facility. Clean. At a walking distance from anything you need in Old Town Pasadena. Great staff. Good restaurant. Great bar. Right inside the Paseo Colorado.
