Not much for complimentary breakfast, for having a jacuzzi...
Not much for complimentary breakfast, for having a jacuzzi tub in my room they only give 2 towels and they don't put towels in the pool area. There were 2 pop machines one was completely out and the other only had 2 kinds of pop to choose from the rest were empty.

So much to do in the region and Red Wing was a perfect...
So much to do in the region and Red Wing was a perfect landing spot. Wabasha has the Eagle Center, Winona has bluffs and beauty of the River valley, Lake Pipen is close by and is worth a stop. There are trails, bike paths, and a vibrant downtown area.

We had a great time in Red Wing! We explored the downtown.
We had a great time in Red Wing! We explored the downtown. Highlights include the St James Hotel where we stayed, the bookstore, game shop. Red Wing Shoe museum, the War museum, the Pottery Place museum, and the Uff Da Shop.

Lovely town on the Mississippi River, great local...
Lovely town on the Mississippi River, great local restaurants and shops. Very nice restored hotel and theater and art throughout the town. There are several beautiful parks on the river and one on top of a bluff overlooking the town and the river valley. There is a nice bike trail, a river walk, and many hiking trails. It is also close to Welch Village for downhill skiing.

Beautiful city! The lake was gorgeous!
Beautiful city! The lake was gorgeous! We were there during a big snowfall which left the city white and very pretty. The city did a good job of clearing roads so travel in and out was manageable. We loved our stay!!

Red Wing is a beautiful place to visit!
Red Wing is a beautiful place to visit! We were there for a wedding at the St.James Hotel. Unfortunately it was colder than normal, snowing and raining on and off all day.😞We didn’t get chance to do much. I hope to go back in the near future to go shopping and see more of Red Wing when the weather is a lot warmer!

Good and no doubt expensive restoration of a grand 19th century hotel. Beautiful recently-remodeled dining room with excellent servers and skilled chef. Free parking in attached ramp. Great food and attractive public spaces. Excellent shower (though without grab handles), and not a lot of storage in the bathroom to lay out hygiene items. Minnesota-nice employees.

Hotel staff was friendly and check in was easy! Room was very clean and hotel was quiet. Free breakfast in the morning was delicious with lots of options. Would highly recommend this hotel!!
