A typical motel experience. Nice staff. Room was clean and flooring had been updated. We stayed in a family room so that worked well. Two wall mounted televisions so big plus as we took one room and kids took the other. In the morning turned on the heater/air conditioner and it warmed up the room quickly. Pretty much got what I expected so no surprises!!
We stayed one night as we boarded our ship the next morning.
We stayed one night as we boarded our ship the next morning. We will not stay at the Crown Plaza again. We did enjoy the restaurant in the town around the pier and they were all within walking distance of the hotel.

The main problem for people staying longer than a day or so is that the restaurant is quite small for the number of hotel rooms.
That said the service and food was good but perhaps a little slow - with a quite limited choice.
If you do not have your own transport there are no nearby restaurants to which you may walk.

We love San Pedro!
We love San Pedro! The town has a cute Little Italy area and many other food choices. It’s on the water and yet close to the freeway system. If you travel 5 minutes, you can get most chain stores. It’s a small town close to the LA area.

If you are going on a cruise it is right across the street.
If you are going on a cruise it is right across the street. It is .8 miles from office to cruise line. Allowed me to park there for my cruise for less money. When I cruise again I will stay there for at least one night. Many attractions across Harbor Blvd. There is USS Iowa and Ports of Call is a little farther down along the Harbor.

San Pedro is a neat little town next to the Port of Los Angeles. It is easy to get around with plenty to see and do within easy walking distance to each other. Check out the USS Iowa, the Maritime Museum, and all the restaurants and bars in the downtown area.

We were staying for just one day in order to leave for a cruise. We arrived on time and we’re looking forward to seeing the maritime Museum and naval vessel. Unfortunately we did not get to go because of the totally inadequate check in process at the hotel.

Although we only stayed overnight, the staff couldn't have been more helpful right from check-in to checkout. This is an economy hotel so don't expect luxurious conditions. Our family stayed in 4 rooms. All 4-rooms were clean and appeared to have been recently updated. Staff even booked 2 cabs for us for the short drive to the cruise ship terminal. Couldn't have asked for better service.
This hotel is a wonderful option for spending the night before a cruise. We arrived late and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel's restaurant the next morning. We paid for the shuttle, but it was so crowded we ended up taking an Uber to the cruise terminal. Next time, we'll just uber (less than $10 and five minutes), but having the shuttle service was a nice perk.
Room was okay. Hotel hallways had visible water damage on the ceilings likely from the room leaking. Hotel needs some updating. It’s dated and for the money I expected it to be nicer.
