We were staying for just one day in order to leave for a cruise. We arrived on time and we’re looking forward to seeing the maritime Museum and naval vessel. Unfortunately we did not get to go because of the totally inadequate check in process at the hotel.
An okay stop pre or post cruise i didn't do anything else in this area. I was booked here by the cruiseline, as the gal I cruised with got pneumonia and was taken to a nearby hospital. So, I wasn't here to sightsee. This is a budget property, but the room was clean, adequate in every way. The staff were friendly and helpful!
The staff was friendly and very Accommodating, they helped with everything I asked of them, things that should be in a room weren't, the staff informed me of why things were missing from my room (the locals stealing from them) I'd make a suggestion of maybe placing said items into the room(s) and have an inspection of reneted room(s) before customers leave and if anything is out of place or damaged then charge that customer for missing or damaged items, other hotels I have stayed in do that. I'd give this location 3 out of 4 stars other little things that can be done Ike a garbage can in my room would've been nice
Covid shut down of parks was tragic. C'mon city council.... they're PARKS. Outdoor sunshine, easy to maintain social distances... Anyway, this place has great mom and pop restaurants. Cabrillo Beach and the maritime science center (or whatever it's called is great! (Again, covid closed this trip) The peace bell is awesome, MacArthur park...very interesting. USS IOWA...an awful lot packed into a small area. Oh yes, a drive to Portugese bend and the Glass Church is a must. OH, the tidepools at White Point.
San Pedro was beautiful, loved the Crowne Plaza Hotel, we had a beautiful view. The San Pedro Fish Market had delicious food but due to covid 19 the wait was long. Perfect weather. Will definitely be back.
Was easy to find. We aren’t used to traffic noise but we enjoyed the view. A short ride to Long Beach waterfront. Nice shops and restaurants. Great views off the Queen Mary moored there. Nice walking areas.
I DIDN'T APPRECIATE CROWNE PLAZA of Los Angeles in San Pedro, CA, DISCRIMINATING AGAINST MYSELF SAYING BECAUSE I LIVE AROUND THE AREA I CANNOT STAY THERE. I SPOKE TO THE MANAGER AND SHE STATED THAT GUYS THAT LOOK LIKE MY BOYFRIEND WILL BE DRINKING, SMOKING, AND DESTROYING THE PROPERTY . MY BOYFRIEND DOESN'T DO ANYTHING OF THAT AMD NEITHER DO I .
The home is well decorated and super clean. They have provided lots of creature comforts to facilitate and make easy everything from cooking to having toiletries in the bathroom. The home is also very close to downtown San Pedro. Great restaurants, bars, and shops.
Location is the only thing going for this hotel in it's proximity to the cruise port however, if the hotel is too atrocious to stay in, the location is irrelevant!
honestly nothing. The hotel smelled a lot like cigarette. it was to noisy couldn’t really sleep. there was no parking. had to park two blocks away.
I enjoyed my stay. I was here visiting a friend and everything went well. I like San Pedro and the surrounding areas.
Well the hotel charged me again for the room not happy
