Located off Highway 101, Holiday Inn Express - Santa Rosa North offers an outdoor pool and rooms with free WiFi. Sonoma County Fair Grounds and Golf Course are 10 minutes’ drive away. Easy to get to, room was clean and comfortable, good breakfast. The room was very quiet, didn't hear noise from neighboring rooms or the floor above. As in most hotels, you do hear the inconsiderate guests who bellow down the halls, apparently forgetting, or not caring, where they are or who hears their conversations. Kudos to the management who were quick to stifle the annoying culprits.

Dinner at the Bird and the Bottle in Santa Rosa was very good. Looks like they have several good restaurants, we will probably be back. It's a reasonable distance from the South Bay but you feel like you've gotten away. Last time we went to the Luther Burbank gardens which was very pretty and informative.
As I stated, the staff was pleasant and efficient and the property was kept a high quality of cleanliness! My only complaint is the lack of and or availability of a coffee maker for our room which is a bit of a dealbreaker yet in the scheme of things is alright! Thank you for asking for our opinion!
We live here in Santa Rosa so some of these questions above aren't relevant to us. Santa Rosa is well located to visit Sonoma wine country, the beautiful West County and coastal Bodega Bay. Easy drives to Sonoma, Healdsberg, Sebastopol, Petaluma, all beautiful towns.
We are thinking of moving to Santa Rosa so scouting out various neighborhoods. Haku Japanese Restaurant and Corrick's, which is like a through back to the stationery stores I once remembered, both located downtown. And of course a drive out to Bodega Bay to partake in Spud Point takeout crab and shrimp sandwiches and a little hike to enjoy the ocean breeze.
The downtown area & neighborhood was fun to walk around. There were many choices for dining and shopping. There was a Day of the Dead Festival going on at the courthouse square, lots of music/dancing.
I have always enjoyed staying here, always felt safe and it was clean Till this time. There was hair in the tub, not mine. I saw something running across the floor put on glasses and saw cockroaches glad I did not leave my luggage on the floor. I have stayed here several times and have never seen a room dirty or bugs in the room before
Santa Rosa
Loved the room and location. The room was well furnished, spacious, and quiet. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. We got in a bit late and left early, so didn't have a chance to explore the hotel area properly, but it looked like they had some nice outdoor spaces. The location was great as it was near the highway and a number of food, gas, and grocery options.
There was a little glitch during our check-in, but we were given vouchers for drinks and breakfast as compensation. The room was attractive and mostly functional. The bed was comfortable. There were nice restaurants and shops within walking distance (as long as you are out early.) Breakfast in the hotel was adequate and tasty.
Santa Rosa
The hotel isn’t new but the room was clean and spacious with mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. It is off a busy street so road noise can be heard in the room. At night we ran the fan and it was white noise to block the road noise. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I would stay here again.
we definitely enjoyed our stay in the hotel, the location is great, room is clean and pretty big, staff are very friendly and accommodated our request for a crib. finally we forgot our ipad in the room, the team found it quickly and mailed back to us, life safer!
Santa Rosa
The loft was spacious and comfortable. Featuring a full kitchen and an inviting living room, it was much nicer than staying in a hotel. The location was perfect for exploring downtown.
location was great. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was excellent with great view of the square. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was stunning.
A nice budget motel. Very clean, very polite and friendly staff, goods-sized room, great air-con, some road traffic noise but I didn't hear anything from neighbours.
we have stayed at the hotel la rose for almost 30 years . love it’s quaint charm and location . plus grossmans deli ( located in the hotel ) is fantastic
This hotel was fantastic! Right in the heart of Santa Rosa. The staff was very accomodating. Our room was spacious and spotless.
I like the friendliness of all the staff, and loved the comfort n cleanliness of my room and the hotel.
Clean hotel and room. Good breakfast, but with a small selection of meals
My room was really noisy due to construction in the hotel.
Clean room. Good food. Easy parking.
