Easy to get to, room was clean and comfortable, good breakfast. The room was very quiet, didn't hear noise from neighboring rooms or the floor above. As in most hotels, you do hear the inconsiderate guests who bellow down the halls, apparently forgetting, or not caring, where they are or who hears their conversations. Kudos to the management who were quick to stifle the annoying culprits.

I liked the way it has a very nice downtown yet minutes away from there are beautiful wineries and agriculture. No smog and lots of shopping. IE: Best Buy, Petco, Home Office, Cost co, theatre, Starbucks, TraderJo es, etc. And these are only minutes from the Hotel.
Santa Rosa offers a great deal. Shopping and Wine Tasting. Hotel leisure. On some other places there are great walking and biking areas. In just 14 miles one can go to Healdsburg and enjoy fine dining and wine tasting. There are so many beautiful wineries on the outskirts of town. All near Santa Rosa.
Dinner at the Bird and the Bottle in Santa Rosa was very good. Looks like they have several good restaurants, we will probably be back. It's a reasonable distance from the South Bay but you feel like you've gotten away. Last time we went to the Luther Burbank gardens which was very pretty and informative.
As I stated, the staff was pleasant and efficient and the property was kept a high quality of cleanliness! My only complaint is the lack of and or availability of a coffee maker for our room which is a bit of a dealbreaker yet in the scheme of things is alright! Thank you for asking for our opinion!
We live here in Santa Rosa so some of these questions above aren't relevant to us. Santa Rosa is well located to visit Sonoma wine country, the beautiful West County and coastal Bodega Bay. Easy drives to Sonoma, Healdsberg, Sebastopol, Petaluma, all beautiful towns.
We are thinking of moving to Santa Rosa so scouting out various neighborhoods. Haku Japanese Restaurant and Corrick's, which is like a through back to the stationery stores I once remembered, both located downtown. And of course a drive out to Bodega Bay to partake in Spud Point takeout crab and shrimp sandwiches and a little hike to enjoy the ocean breeze.
Very new hotel. Comfortable , nicely decorated, and spacious rooms. Staff was very nice. Outdoor Pool and hot tub were clean and loved making use of them. Best in the morning and early aftrrnoon as later they are in the shade. But still nice. Free breafast was pretty good - i liked the waffle machine. Having a mini fridge and microwave in the room was a really nice perk. Allowed us to save a bit of money on a meal when we were sick of restaurants! Well situated for activities in Sonoma. Overall very happy with our stay- good value hotel.
Santa Rosa
The pool was lovely, especially for my visiting young granddaughter. The room was nice, until I found out (on check-out) about the luxury tax ($29) for the fact there was a pool & hot tub. But the rooms would not have been worth $200+ daily if there wasn't a poool! Total rip-off.
I stayed at Hotel e several time with my doggie, Kimmy. Excellent location in the heart of Santa Rosa with ample choices of restaurants, cafés and bars. Quiet comfortable rooms. Valet service and beer/wine bar in lobby.
Santa Rosa
Quiet neighborhood and inside at night as well. Having a coffee pot in the room similar to a hotel was nice. Very friendly and accommodating host. He can offer suggestions on the area if you ask.
Santa Rosa
Clean private room in a great location. Really nice staff who were always prompt and responsive. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, highly recommended for a quick basic stay.
The hotel is amazing and must stay place if in Santa Rosa. Full of character and history and in the historic railroad district. Would definitely return here.
The size of the room and the way it is laid out is great. It even had a full kitchen and dining table.
