Located in Silverton and within 6.2 mi of Silverton Mountain Ski Area, Teller House has a restaurant, nonsmoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. A wonderful place to stay in Silverton! The whole place oozes character and has an interesting historic tale to tell. The rooms have been renovated in fitting with the history. Room was very comfortable with views onto the colorful main street. Coffee and masks were provided. Sidney the administrator was very accommodating and friendly. Location could not be better - right on the main street of silverton with easy parking right outside. Good wifi too.

Great accommodations, wonderful owners, felt as though we were at our own home! Super accommodating! Thank you!!!
Canyon View King in Silverton offers accommodations with free WiFi, 5.6 mi from Silverton Mountain Ski Area. We loved our stay. Clean room, good shower, and plenty of space. The outdoor seating on the patio was great to enjoy the weather and scenery. We are so thankful our lab could stay with us since she is apart of the family. Very affordable for the 4th of July weekend in Silverton!
If you are Jeep owner or other OHV enthusiast then Silverton is the ideal location. Convenient to some of the best off-road trails in Colorado plus numerous ghost towns and other points of interest. Not too far from Durango or Ouray if you want some variety. Silverton itself is a gorgeous mountain town surrounded by spectacular San Juan vistas.
Avoid staying in Silverton. Ouray has nicer accommodations at the same price or less. I cannot trust booking.com ratings or recommendations. I will stop being a booking.com customer after this trip.
Silverton is in a beautiful area of Colorado. If you enjoy hiking or 4-wheeling, it is a great place to stay. Some of the best hikes and 4-wheeling we have done. Silverton itself is small, and only has 3 hotels, so make reservations early if you can. Otherwise, you will need to stay in Durango which is about 40 minutes away, or Ouray, which is also 35 or 40 minutes away. Ouray also has limited hotel space. If you want a plethora of restaurants and bars, you will want to stay in Durango.
Mediocre as Colorado mountain towns go. Too much Texas, too little Colorado. The OHVs up and down Main Street all day and night have nothing to do with Colorado, and everything to do with soaking out of state tourists at the expense of the beautiful Colorado back country.
This is a small, historic town with cute shops and a friendly vibe. We ate a great meal at Eureka on Blair St., and had a lovely stay at the Grand Imperial Hotel. It's also a great base camp for excellent hiking.
It was a great town. Train ride WAY over priced for what it was. Stores may or may not be open when they say. Most stores were very friendly Food was great at the restaurants we ate at Would not go back or recommend hotel we stayed at. Would probably get a hotel in Durango if I come back Mountains were awesome!
