Offering a seasonal indoor pool and a hot tub, Deer Lodge Motel is located in Sundance. All rooms are equipped with free WiFi. Keyhole State Park is 30 minutes’ drive from the hotel. For it’s price it was soooo worth it. They have an indoor jaquzzi. I can’t even begin to tell you how good it felt to have that after a week of camping. They had brrakfast as well which was a lot of packaged food, 2 types if cereal, apples amd oatmeal. The oatmeal was life saver.
Featuring free WiFi, this motel is located in Sundance. All air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a satellite TV. Black Hills National Forest is 5 minutes’ drive from the motel. My husband and I needed a place to spend the night on our way to the Mt Rushmore and liked the place: -easy check in and out -confortable bed - clean bathroom - parking
Located 7.5 mi from Devils Tower National Monument, Sawin' Logs Bed & Breakfast offers a shared lounge, a garden and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The room was large with a roomy bathroom, the bed was super comfy, and breakfast was delicious!. Everything was just perfect for our stay - a very homely feel to this wonderful B&B!
Located 0.7 mi from Devils Tower National Monument, Devils Tower Lodge offers a restaurant, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. For anyone interested in Devils Tower, this is the only place to stay as the Tower is literally in the backyard. The property is very homey -- nothing fancy, if you're looking for fancy -- but comfortable, and it was a pleasure to talk to the staff. (The famous Frank was away, but Gabriel and Rachel were lovely.) Breakfast and dinner were homey in a good way. Fun to meet people during those shared meals.
Sundance was a small, welcoming little town. I visited their local museum and found it full of many fascinating stories and things from the past, I highly recommend it! I loved my experience there and hope to return very soon!
Nice small town. Easily accessible from I-80, a great spot to stay between Devil's Tower and Spearfish. Food options are good: The pizza shop near entrance of Bear Lodge Mtn. Resort has great service, fast, good pizza and a variety of beverages. Downtown has a few options too, we ate at the restaurant next to the Harley-Davidson shop - food was good, service was excellent.
We were just there overnight. It didn't seem like there was much to do or very many places to eat. We ate at the local steak place and it was good. Just a quick stop on our way to Devil's Tower.
Friendliness of the locals who were preparing for their Pumpkin Festival whilst we were there. Ideal spot to stay between visits to Mt Rushmore and Devils Tower, then on to Yellowstone! There's also the local history about the local Bank/Train Robber often referred to as the Sundance Kid!! Sundance itself has one or two eating establishments who provide breakfasts, lunches and dinners, plus a drink of the alcoholic kind if you're that way inclined.
Small room with all expected amenities and a good bed. Very clean. Kinda spendy but it was peak season. Everything worked. Great people. Longhorn Grill one block away had great burgers and onion rings and a cute waitress. We went for a drive and saw deer and turkeys at the edge of town. Nice small town.
Very nice, quiet town with lots to offer-very near Devil's Tower National Monument, with most amenities needed for travel, grocery store, hardware store, cute little ice cream/gift shop, restaurants, museum, and much more. Old jail where the Sundance Kid was jailed, too!
