This beachfront complex is located in Scrub Island. It offers an outdoor pool, a private beach area, free Wi-Fi and ocean views. I absolutely loved the staff. I wish I could name everyone but I interacted with so many people it would be challenging. The entire resort is beautiful and well worth the cost. The staff picked me up at my room when I decided to go to the north beach which I completely had to myself.
Located in East End, Tortola, Lambert Beach Resort features an outdoor swimming pool. Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. we received a warm welcome from Geeta-(onsite manager.) She was helpful throughout our stay and went out of the way to book transportation and a restaurant reservation at Red rock for us. The entire staff was very welcoming & hospitable, especially Colleen who checked in on us a few times. The hotel is on a nice secluded private beach. The views are incredible & our bungalow type room was exceptionally clean & spacious.
We booked a tent on the dunes - well it was a tent and a half. It had a king size bed, outside bathroom which was circular with all mod cons. Very natural. Loved the hammock to swing in and watch the sun go down. Wonderful to wake up with the most beautiful view. The food was excellent. We hired a car and went also to Wonky Dogs restaurant which the hire car place recommended. Fantastic lobster, conch and fish. Great atmosphere too.
if you like exploring an unspoiled tropical island, with a chance at catching bonefish and great snorkeling, then Anegada is for you. There are a number of nice restaurants. Besides eating dinner at Neptunes Treasure, where we always stay, we also ate dinner at Anegada Beach Club, The Lobster Trap and Anegada Reef Hotel. Cow Wreck is a nice place to swim, enjoy the beach, have a drink and a little lunch. The best snorkeling is at Flash of Beauty, which also has a lunch spot (conch fritters!). There are taxis, but the easiest way to get around is to rent a car.
This hotel is barefoot casual and a great place to meet travellers from around the globe. It is the hub for sailors and most boats will moor in the bay and you will watch the zodiaks come tie up to the Anegada Reef Hotel dock, for access to the island shuttles etc. We visited both Cow Wreck and Loblolly beach areas and went back a second day to Loblolly because the snorkeling was much better there. We dined at the hotel our first night and at The Wonky Dog our second night. The Wonky Dog has an innovative menu and a fun-loving staff.
The highlight was going past the stunning flats; breathtaking views of crystal clear shallow water on white sand. We felt the northern beachline was best, away from the tourism feel of loblolly with families and children. It was v clear Anegada Beach Club was the only proper hotel with great facilities on the island and so glad we picked it. Also you will have to be able to drive a scooter or jeep. Walking and taxi are simply not options.
Anegada is a fabulous place for a quiet holiday, white beaches and warm seas. Nice places to eat and drink - our favourite being "The Big Bamboo". Rent-a-car, scooter or bicycle or take a taxi - the choice is yours. Or simply put on your backpack and walk, like we did. Watch the yachts sailing in and out at Anegada Reef, the pelicans diving into the sea and feeding, and the gorgeous sunsets.
We had 4 nights on the settlement and ate at The Reef, Cow Wreck, Beach Club, and Wonkey Dog ALL WERE AMAZING!! 2 nights were spend at The Reef hotel and 2 nights at Beach Club! Both were great locations!
