Cool town on Mekong river with peaceful views and friendly people. There are so many activities to do like visiting fruit plantation, sitting on boat along a narrow channel with 2 green along the way. I like the most seeing sunrise at Bo Song Quan coffee and Huong Quan food is great!!

Not a huge amount to do in this area.

Not a huge amount to do in this area. It’s a great getaway to relax and unwind in a resort. To get there from HCM I would use a bus company to the tourist port. You can cycle around but there isn’t a huge amount to see. Not lots of choice of places to eat outside the hotel. Lots of rubbish sadly, would be great to see some conservation projects or community clearing projects to help with this.

A small, quiet, and well-located town. Cycling is easy.

A small, quiet, and well-located town. Cycling is easy. Excursions to the nearby islands are possible (bike + inexpensive ferry fare). The small island just opposite the ferry pier is well worth a visit. The crossing takes only a few minutes (4000 dong). Once there, you can cycle everywhere on small paved roads. A very interesting ride.

Go to Can Tho to see a floating market; the one in Cai Be is dead. The islands on the Mekong (Anh Binh, etc.) are nicer for cycling than the immediate area around Cai Be. There are pretty old Vietnamese houses (Ba Duc and Ba Kiet), but a visit only lasts 10 minutes each time...

Fantastic accommodation. Friendly and helpful host. Bikes are available for loan and we did long bike rides along the river. The host arranged a boat trip on the river at dawn, very well organised and exciting. Good breakfast. Earplugs are needed, daily information via loudspeaker every morning at 05.

We had a lovely stay, very tranquil. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and have everything you need. They’re set over ponds and have nice views of the beautiful gardens that have grown a lot since the photos were taken. There is a swimming pool set amongst the pretty gardens that we used a lot with the heat. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is within walking distance of Cai Be township and easy to get a taxi to and from locations. A peaceful place to stay while touring the Mekong Delta

The location is very special, with large gardens and grounds right on the river you couldn’t ask for a more ideal setting. The pool area is lovely and the staff were very helpful. The hotel manager Duy personally took care of us - he helped book our bus to the next destination, expertly administered first aid when we needed it, and gave us some interesting facts about the Mekong.

A wonderful hotel. The view to the Mekong from swimming pool is beautiful and unique. The garden is full of flowers and trees. It is a very peacefull hotel. The staff is very kind, checking that all is always ok with our family. The restaurant in wood is just in front of the river. So nice to have our dinner and breakfast with this view. We recommend at 100%.

The staff is very helpful, they are such nice people. They helped us with getting around in town and also gave us a lift to the bus station (you will appreciate it even more in a place where there aren't too many options!). We liked the breakfast and also the bed which was very comfortable. The hotel is under construction/renovation.
