The property exceeded all our expectations. Very clever design peace and quiet. Loved all the little extras. Eggs homemade butter, fresh milk and warm home baked bread delivered thru tiny hatch in the kitchen. We loved the pizza bases and made pizza for the first time what a great family experience. The Kol kol hot tub with spectacular views. Our host was amazing and we are already planning to return. Can’t rate this highly enough. Hands down the highlight of our trip to South Africa. So much to enjoy and explore…..ps Beaumont Wine is a must while in Botriver

What Impressed us most about Botrivier is whom I pressume to be the owner (not reveal name in respect of POPI Act) who kept us updated about arrangements prior to our departure. She also sent us contact details of hostess. The hostess welcomed us on arrival and after explaining all equipment available in the chalets took us on a short tour on the farm. She also revealed to us trail routes available. Our stay was absolutely amazing. Thanks to the owner and hostess.

Must visit is Keer-Veer restaurant on the Wildekrans wine estate. The food was absolutely delicious, and you could watch the chef put his masterpieces together. The food was a taste explosion. Husband and wife combo, our hostess was very friendly. Beautifully put together restaurant. The complementary breadbasket must be the tastiest bread I've ever eaten. Beaumont family wine farm, we visited the restaurant on the farm called Zest, breakfast was scrumptious. It is truly a family run establishment. Staff were all friendly. The wine hostess was excellent and knew her subject very well. Wines are divine. Gabrielskloof beautiful estate, did lunch at the restaurant The Kitchen Door, food was good, with a twist on tastes. You can eat on the patio and wine taste or have larger meals in the restaurant. Easy drive to Hangklip from Botriver, Hangklip beaches has the whitest softest sand, I have ever seen or felt beneath my feet. We also drove through Betty's Bay, very scenic drive. Easy drive to Hermanus had stunning lunch at La Pentola. A must eat is the lobster and oysters.

Our trip was mainly a get together with an old friend who lives in Botrivier, somewhere I had never been before. Definitely include some time at the Botrivier hotel bar - so much history! The biltong in the kiosk opposite the hotel is a definite! people are friendly and chatty. Add it to your road trip as a destination. Lots of winefarms ( who knew!) And include a nights stay in a Silver Stream caravan at Old Mac daddy!!! definitely!!!

Enjoying the tranquility of Natimby Lodge was Awesome! This time around I just wanted to soak in the Farm life. It’s a lovely spot for couples or a girls weekend away. If you can stay longer, do try to.

Quaint, conveniently located close to Cape Town and close to so many wine, fruit, hiking, mountain biking and other attractions. The flowers are magnificent, the views lovely, its quiet enough and the locals are super friendly. Beaumont family wines, the Hotel, the Shunting station bar.

Booked this hidden gem for a last minute winter getaway, because it had a jacuzzi and big fireplace. It was an amazing place to snuggle in with family for cold winter mornings! The kitchen is huge and easy to use, all appliances worked well. The linens were all high quality and warm. The location is excellent, next to a padstal with Bootlegger Cafe, or across the way is an excellent local restaurant called Ecology. But the best part is the friendliness of Anele and Luis, who are genuinely warm, friendly, and very responsive to inquiries. We cannot wait to return in the summer and use the pool!
