This was a great place to stay. The owner gave advice on where to eat and what to do. The room was spacious,clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back. They are rate 3 stars, but in my opinion, they should be 5 stars. Great place you can not go wrong staying there the staff is great and very helpful, the breakfast is top notch 👌 best in the town.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend away and couldn't have asked for a better stay. The property was very accessible and thoughtfully designed, making it especially comfortable and wheelchair friendly. The owners truly went above and beyond by providing every amenity we could possibly need. The house itself was modern, stylish and exceptionally well fitted out. We especially loved the modern light switches with built -in charging options -such a convenient touch. Everything felt clean, new and carefully considered. The sea view was breathtaking and made the entire experience even more relaxing and memorable. From start to finish, our stay was comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a modern, accessible and relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back ******

Yzerfontein is a picturesque town on the west coast of South Africa. The word picturesque should be seen in a curious way. Wonderful beach, shades of turquoise waves,lazy sea birds and the list goes on…. Wonderful restaurants to dine and wine!

Just as nice as Paternoster but less crowded. Central location- can visit rest of West Coast as well as Cape Town and Wine Growing regions ...all within reasonable distance for day trips. Safety of town , low crime rate (for now).

We loved walking along the beautiful sandy beach & watching people surf boarding . The harbour trail Schaapeiland was lively & easy as well . The people were friendly & the little Slow Time Cafe had the best cappuccino 👍. Many thanks to our host , Wendy . She was amazing .

Yzerfontein is a neat and spectacular town.

Yzerfontein is a neat and spectacular town. This was our first visit and there is so much more to explore. The rocky seas, the breathtaking beachfront and the harbour wrap around this town to offer stunning views from many different vantage points. We enjoyed dinner overlooking the beach and there were many other options to choose from as well. A large SPAR catered for all other shopping needs and we found the people of Yzerfontein particularly friendly.

The place has changed dramatically over the years and not necessarily in a good way. The new houses are all massive and it is very overpopulated. The beach was a big disappointment due to the severe mass of debris, like plastic etc. that washed up from the ocean.

I had an amazing birthday getaway at Stoep Stories—a perfect escape from the city to beautiful Yzerfontein! The loft-style design is spacious, stylish, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was an incredible cycle from Yzerfontein Beach to the next beach, with stunning coastal views all the way. I celebrated my birthday with the guys, enjoyed an exciting rugby match, and had our very first experience with a braai in the kitchen—definitely something to remember!

The apartment is located in the heart of Yzerfontein. It is a walking distance to the beaches, to shops, restaurants and pharmacy. The apartment itself is very clean and has beautiful views overlooking the ocean. Beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets. The rooms are spacious and very clean and so was the bedding, linen and towels. The apartment is fully stocked with all kitchen and braai utensils. Check in and check out was flawless and the hostess, Mariaan was very kind and helpful.

Brilliant location with spectacular 180 degree sea views. The view of Dassen Island and it's lighthouse is a complete bonus. The house is centrally located in Yzerfontein, and close to shops and restaurants. The property is very well appointed and equipped, and has everything you need in order to make your stay comfortable. Ros is a wonderful host.

It was very peaceful, impeccably clean, and comfortable and we felt safe. Security lighting was great especially when visiting the ablution facilities. A great place to feed one’s soul. The location was perfect to enjoy a sea breeze coming from Yzerfontein and an awesome view.
