It's great to sleep here - a very quiet location, yet very close to the city center. However, the best is the Thabor Park = and it is just 50 meters from the house. The house is in a closed area, you feel very safe.

Clean and spacious! Everything you need is available. The hosts met us with a warm welcome and provided all needed information. We had one problem operating the stove and he came over in less than 5 minutes. Both Patrick and his wife were so nice and answered all questions, would stay here again when visiting Bretagne!

The air conditioning was perfect and needed to be in constantly. It was very clean and everything that we need was there.

There are many great things about this house. - the young woman who met us to give keys and orientation to the property was lovely and helpful. - the house is exceptionally charming, inside and out. - the location is perfect, right in the heart of the most beautiful part of the city, close to everything. - the three stories of the house provides a nice separation if you are traveling with other couples. - the 3rd story (in France, the 2nd story) bedroom has its own bathroom. The 2nd floor bedrooms share a bathroom. The bathrooms are both very nice, the showers are great. Nice towels are provided, 1 big towel, one hand towel per person. No wash cloths. - there is refillable liquid soap at the sinks and in the shower. However, note that the shower soap is intended to be used for both body AND hair - they consider it to be both body wash and shampoo. (we found this to be the case in a very nice hotels in Paris as well) There is no separate shampoo, and there is no conditioner. We had to go and buy that ourselves. - the kitchen had many amenities that were nice - lots of wine glasses, enough regular glasses and dishes. Several large mixing and serving bowls. Plenty of silverware. Very limited bowls. No dish towels. - the beds were comfortable, the linens clean. - the house was very clean (with the exception of the furniture, I'll talk about that below) - it fit us all - 3 couples - very nicely, both in the living room and the dining table. Note: It is a small space compared to what Americans are used to, but spacious by European standards and comfortable for us. - there was nearby parking at Parking Les Lices C-Park, 17 Pl. des Lices, 35000 Rennes, France, only about a 3-4 minute walk. Though it was expensive per day, it turned out that for only about 30 Euro we could get a week pass. You have to go into the office at the parking structure to buy that, however. - being in a closed off courtyard kept it quiet and safe.
