Location is fabulous, the views are lovely, and the little village of St Marcel is the prettiest I've seen for many years. It is also extremely well maintained by the residents who clearly have great pride in their surroundings. Peter and Nancy are extremely pleasant and helpful, and there was heaps of space for the dogs to run and enjoy themselves. The Manoir is located within relatively easy reach of Bergerac, Salat, and places of local interest. Although the buildings are old and rustic they are very well equipped. All in all, an experience we will revisit.

Elisabeth is a generous host who has given attention to detail for a holiday home. A spacious rural retreat with all modern facilities. The swimming pool and air conditioning were excellent additions. Recommend Sainte Alvere 5km and LaLinde 12km for shopping and French Markets.

The room is exactly like the picture with hot shower 24 hours. The host is very nice and welcome us for the dinner.

This accommodation is absolutely superb. We were greeted by Chantel who is a lovely lady and an excellent host. Very helpful and nothing too much trouble. The one bedroom gite was perfect. Stylish and a good size with comfy bed and great en site with shower. Fantastic outdoor spaces all round with lovely seating areas and great garden and countryside views. Swimming pool a great bonus with sunbeds for chilling. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. This little gem should score 100/10. Merci beaucoup.

Caroline et Arnaud were exceptional hosts who welcomed us warmly. The following evening they came over with a bottle of wine and tons of valuable travel information so we could plan our week easily. The apartment is in a very quiet location and has a great heated pool which we used every day. From here it is easy to visit most locations in the Dordogne by car, a bakery and small shop is in the next village (St. Alvere, very pretty, 2km).A larger supermarket is in Lallende (13km). We had a great time and are definitely coming back!
