Cosy little hideaway in a small Cotswolds-Village. Shop, swimming-pool and Pub in walking distance. Secured garden, so you can let your dog off-lead. Nice and friendly host who lives next door. I would book this again any time.

Maisey Cottage is extremely comfortable and cosy. There is underfloor heating in parts of the cottage should you need it, and the log burner is so efficient that it warms practically all of the downstairs. Logs are provided. The seating in the lounge is very comfortable (at least one of our group ALWAYS falls asleep on one of the sofas!). The kitchen has been very well planned and is comprehensively equipped with good quality things. There are two bathrooms with two showers making it ideal for two couples, although one is downstairs. The beds are comfortable and plenty of fluffy towels are provided. There are lots of useful things left in the kitchen - oil, condiments etc., ditto shampoo, shower gel etc in the bathrooms. Maisey Cottage is in a good location within easy reach of many lovely places and Mandy the owner has left a comprehensive guide to days out, walks etc. It’s obvious she’s a very organised person! It’s our second stay a Maisey Cottage as we love it so much, and it’s a halfway point to meet up with our friends from Manchester. I am sure we will stay again as it’s very much a home from home. The only thing to be aware of is the staircase which is quite steep and winding and traditional to an older cottage. It is fine if you have no mobility issues but if you do, it would be something to consider.

Easy location to get to, parking was right outside the door with enough room for a few cars. The property is very well maintained and very clean. The village is very nice with some great walks and a nice little pub/restaurant. The host was very helpful and understanding with a small issue of us locking ourselves out!

Stunning countryside setting! Conveniently close to local amenities by car / a short walk to the town, but was a very quiet and peaceful. Great walks over the fields right on the doorstep. Easy parking outside the room and a decent, well equipped kitchen if you want to cook.

Gorgeous cottage in a quiet and picturesque location. The place is perfectly sized for 3 couples (and 2 dogs) and has all the facilities needed for a lovely, weekend escape!
