Wow…wow…wow…we were totally blown away with Wheelwrights Cottage! Nikki has tastefully decorated the whole cottage to a high specification and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family while having our home renovated. The extra special touches that Nikki had left for us was so thoughtful and made our stay even more memorable. The neighbours were amazing too and were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for a further 8 days. we can highly recommend Wheelwrights Cottage if you want 5 star service!!!

Charming cabin in peaceful surroundings, within walking distance of Bodiam Castle and local amenities. Host was very friendly and helpful, suggesting local walking routes and good pubs. Good wifi, comfortable bed, hot shower, lovely lounge area. My daughter appreciated the hairdryer and hair straighteners! Kitchenette was well stocked with all necessary cutlery and crockery, washing up supplies etc. There was also a coffee machine (with pods) as well as a very nice bottle of apple juice, milk, and a small fruit bowl - this was a nice touch.

Everything about Spilstead Barn was perfect for us. The Barn is extremely well equipped and felt like a home from home set in beautiful countryside. Very easy access to Battle and Hastings and not too far from Rye and the beaches at Camber for a great outing with the dogs. Roger and Ronnie are great hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful place.
