My girlfriend and I went to The High Dive back in February and had such a wonderful experience. At the time, it was the end of the rainy season and we were the only guests in the hotel, but it also seemed like we were the only tourists on the island. It was so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The hotel itself and the restaurant/terrace area is beautiful. We had one of the beachfront bungalows and it was really great. Warm, stylish design, big comfortable bed, a ceiling fan and A/C, plus a spacious bathroom. Everything we ate at the High Dive, whether breakfast or the main menu, was delicious! The highlight of the experience here for us was the staff. The team is mostly local from the Gili Gede island. They treated us with such warmth that it felt like we were hanging out with friends and it meant that the overall experience had a very personal feeling. They helped teach us some of the local language but otherwise could speak English well, so we felt very comfortable. We didn’t actually Scuba dive, but did a snorkelling trip for 1 day and loved it. We saw some beautiful, colourful coral reefs, had lots of fun with the crew - stopping on a nearby island for a snack, fresh coconuts, and Lombok coffee was really special! Otherwise, contact with Lisa was always quick, friendly, and easy - she was really helpful and made us feel very welcome!

I was expecting a much simpler accommodation, but I was surprised by the nice small bungalow resort that Yut's Inn is. The bungalows are simple, the mattress is quite hard (I love it) and the pillow very soft (I love it). You will have AC and private bathroom (even if the water is a little bit salty). A huge garden, and a beautiful sea view. The bungalows are very close to the jetty for the speedboat but (another surprise) the water here is so clear and transparent, quite corals and turtles swimming in the water. The staff is very nice and friendly. I had a very nice stay. Terima kasih

It's a beautiful area - quiet and peaceful - the morning sunrise is spectacular. We also enjoyed snorkelling at one of the nearby islands. The staff were great at helping to arrange various modes of transport.

We had a great stay here. A perfect spot if your thinking of taking the scenic drive from Kuta or checking out the world famous surf at desert point. Bukran was really helpful and did everything he could to make our stay and recommend local spots. The villa itself was comfortable and has a stunning view with a balcony overlooking the bay.

We stayed at babaleq during a surf trip to desert point and it was awesome, the owner jhon is an internet technician from the village and was helpful to all our questions and had a good communication in English. The accommodation is simple yet well above Indonesians home stay standard, we felt safe and close to where we needed to be, this place is located in a simple local village in a beautiful bangko bangko bay next to desert point, when traveling you can choose to stay on a luxurious resort or have a true local culture immersion and that was our choice, wish jhon and his family’s all the best as his accommodation business keep growing it will get better and better each and every time a western stays there we being supportive of a local man’s bussines so let’s keep doing it.
