The house was really lovely and very comfortable. The atmosphere in the house happy and friendly. Everything was spotless and all possible equipment was provided. The location in the Comeragh Mountains and Nire Valley and easy access to the sea was ideal for all outdoor activities. There are many historic and archaeological sites within very easy driving. We were a family of three generations ranging from 88 years to 6years and we all enjoyed our stay The family who own the house were so kind and friendly to us.

The bed was comfy, the cottage cozy & the peace and quiet of the place was amazing. Our hosts were wonderfully attentive, and it was a really great option for us. Home made bread and freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious! Would stay here again!

We loved the welcome note and freshly made scones on our arrival. So much love has gone into the sympathetic renovation of this home to make it a gloriously comfortable place to visit with lots of historic touches. While there was just the two of us staying at the cottage it is well set up for two couples or a single family group. It is also good for older people with only one step at the entry and everything else is at a single level. The cottage is located on a working dairy farm which lent to its authenticity and charm. We hope to revisit the next time we come to Ireland.
