Beautiful villa, turned out to a very high standard. Super clean, well equipped. Very attentive hosts with fantastic communication even though English is not first language, nothing too much trouble. Towel exchange service and hosts welcomed our stay with homemade cake and a bottle of wine. We would highly recommend a stay at these stunning villas. The house is very beautiful, the interior and the furniture lets you immerse in the history of the place. However, it was well equipped with all the facilities, needed in the modern life (air conditioning in each room, coffee machine, good WiFi). The host was super friendly and always ready to help. I would definitely recommend the place!

it was private and peaceful. the place was very clean and equipped with everything you need for a big family group. the hosts were excellent and willing to do anything for us. Highly recommend this lovely Villa. we will take many happy memories of family time together at Casa de Alventela.

Very close to railway station on the legendary Douro line - the river is reached in just 10 mins. This means are car not necessary (though warning nearest supermarket is an uphill trek!) The house is in a beautiful setting with the pool being the centrepiece. Appreciated the heating on the cold autumn evenings.

The property is amazing and the staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with. If you're looking for a very quiet place with greens spaces and some farm animals I recommend this one. On the plus side, the construction is very recent and the beds and pillows very comfortable!
