The hosts were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They recommended High179, a 400 meter long suspension bridge 15 minutes away which was a blast! We would definitely stay there again. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to enjoy breakfasts around the kitchen table and dinners on the well-appointed patio. An amenity we did not expect - there was an assortment of wines, beers, and other refreshments available for purchase which was especially nice on the evening of our arrival. On our second evening there was an issue with not having hot water - apparently the boiler was having technical difficulties. We emailed the owners at 22:30, and by 9:30 the next morning the technician had already been there to fix the issue. The owner's responsiveness was impressive which we so appreciated! The location is amazingly situated - about 25 minutes from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau (just over the border in Germany) and only about 10 minutes from Ehrenberg castle, fortress, and ruins. Our time at the chalet was magical - thank you to the owners and our host Gerda!

We had one nice day of weather so go to enjoy the porch with the hanging swing. We were very pleased with the unit and the location.

The house has everything a family 2+2 needs during a stay. We could bring our dog with us, there were even poop bags ready if we forgot. All kitchen and bathrooms appliances were top level, wahsing and dryer were very useful during the stay. The shower/bathtub bathroom is spacious enough to have a drying rack standing freely. We felt very taken care of there.
