This property is an approx. 20min walk from Interlacken centre (there is also a bus service directly to the camp) which is extremely convenient. It is also within walking distance of Lake Thunersee which has various swimming spots. The property itself is very well kept, clean and well stocked with kitchenware. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was warm/high pressured. The mattress was comfortable and there was a small dining table that was very helpful. The views of the alps from here were amazing! Decking and outdoor furniture affords to opportunity to sit outside in the warm mornings/evenings. I would highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay again in the future. Using Interlacken as a base for our trip was the best decision and this property enhanced that!

Great Location, calm area, 2 mins distance to bus stand, grocery store. View of the mountains from balcony was wonderful. To reach the place, most efficient way is to get the Bus No. 105 from Interlaken West station & drop at Matten b. I. Gsteigstrasse, it is a 1 min walk or you may take Bus No. 104 from Interlaken OST station & drop at Matten b. I., Mattenstrasse then 1 min walk (follow the google map). Very comfortable beds and maximum 6 people can accommodate comfortably. The only problem is that it have only 1 bathing area (with WC) & 1 separate WC which is a bit issue (those who preferred bathing in the morning). However all other amenities are exceptionally good. You get a full fledged kitchen. Our stay was WONDERFUL!!!

This place is not just a stay, it’s an experience — and one we’d highly recommend to anyone seeking peace, beauty, and a true taste of the Swiss mountains. Denis and his family were wonderfully warm and helpful, always prompt and kind with their responses. A heartfelt thank you to them for making our stay so memorable. This is, without a doubt, a must-stay gem in the Alps.

She was great - so weloming - she left the door unlocked so we were able to get in as soon as we arrived. She came to welcome us and showed us around, advised about parking etc The place was lovely - very comfy rooms and a well stocked kitchen. The coffee machine was ready for use. Excellent value for money.

We truly couldn't have chosen a better place to spend Christmas with our family. ​The owner was very responsive and friendly; we would like to thank him once again for his flexibility in allowing us to arrive early. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return!
