It was intended to be a refuge from daily life; no TV but with a breathtaking view of the Alps. The property is quite close to the town centre (supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants etc.) but far enough so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of natural surroundings. There are hiking trails all around. Sion is just down the valley, Montreaux and Zermatt are just 1 1/ hours away by car.

A few quirks that are mostly a result of the given limitations, for awareness - - small bathrooms, especially the upper level one is a tight squeeze (and has no door) - slightly adventurous / steep internal staircase to upper level - some part of the upper level has glass floor - limited wardrobe space - niche next to entry acts as "ski room" - many TV channels but didn't see e.g. mainstream Swiss channels, however, ability to screenshare from personal Apple device
