This is a very large property - bigger than we expected. It was very clean, well looked after, cool and comfortable. Yaya, the owner, greeted us. He was a lovely guy. We only stayed one night but we actually discussed that we should have stayed longer. The town is significantly less touristy than Luxor and Aswan and in the evening we went about our way almost ignored. This apartment and this town are a good place to rest up and take a break. We really liked this apartment and Yaya made us feel welcome. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

Fahd helped us take all our luggage to apartment. He also served us the hot breakfast. Breakfast: highly recommended. Prepared by Fahd’s mother. Home made Amazing oriental breakfast in earthen pots. House: 4 big rooms with lots of beds. All beautifully designed. 2 bathrooms helped us get ready quickly in the morning.

Our arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.

They really enjoyed seeing the animals and the boat ride in and out. They both rated it 5 stars. It was a very unique experience. I appreciated being able to shedule our meals and boat shedule with Muhmoud ahead of time so the day ran smoothly. We also appreciated our delicious welcome drink.

It was the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. We highly recommend Villa Misk to anyone visiting the area. A truly unforgettable stay with such kind and hospitable hosts!
