Free firewood is provided. I am rarely as happy about a place as I was with the Kolin Lotus Cottages. The cottage which was attributed to us is right in front of a lake surrounded by trees. The furnishings were perfectly kept and well chosen. The cottage offers everything you need including a working chimney and a sauna. Everything works and when called about a detail a very kind gentleman came to help literally within seconds. The absolute peace and quiet of the place is astounding.

We had a really nice stay at the Ollila Farm. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, we slept well. Having a wood-heated sauna in the evening was a real treat. Breakfast was great. The old part of the house where breakfast is served is beautiful. I especially enjoyed listening to native birds living in the area, including Crex crex and Acrocephalus dumetorum.

Paimentupa is situated in Kolinkylä, 3.1 km from Koli National Park, and a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities are accessible in-house. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely breakfast and wonderful location next to Koli national park. Tony and partner very welcoming. We enjoyed pony trekking around the area and lovely to wake up with the ponies in the paddocks around our cabin.

It has a huge space: three rooms + living room + kitchen, sauna, bathroom and toilet. Everything works fine. The kitchen has everything to cook on and to eat from. The living room has nice fireplace. The house is lovely decorated in every small things: we felt secure and home by living there. There is also separate building of private wood-burning sauna on the cottage territory. Koli nature reserve is in 10 minutes drive - and is a nature wonder! There is complete silence everywere - it brings a lot of relaxation and peace to the soul. Planning to return there on the autumn season also. Thank a lot!
