Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. Perfect location, close to center of Äkäslompolo with supermarket, restaurants and safari companies. Very comfortable and well equiped. We enjoyed sauna and chimney fire. Any question was answered immediately without delay.

We had a wonderful stay in this Finnish villa in Lapland. The house is built in very high standard, with great attention to detail and high-quality materials throughout, making it immediately feel warm and welcoming. We especially loved the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed and made cooking a real pleasure. The host was exceptionally kind, helpful, and always easy to reach. You can really tell that she cares about her guests and wants them to have a great stay. Check-in and communication were smooth and effortless. Overall, a truly beautiful place to stay in Lapland. We would highly recommend it and would happily return anytime.

It's a very complete house, everything you need you'll find in this house. It's very cosy. We enjoyed the kicksleigh very much during our stay! Everything is very clean. Everything was amazing. The cottage is so cosy and it looks like the pictures. It's equipped with everything you need (glasses, dishes, pots, pans, spices if you want to cook). Linen and towels are provided by paying an extra, for us it wasn't a problem. We were a couple but, if you are more then two persons, the cottage has one double bed and 2 single beds. The landscape in which the house is located is breathtaking. You are in the middle of nature and this was the most important thing for us. We also saw the northern lights outside of the cottage. The owner, Riika, was always available to our requests. At our arrival we also found a chocolate box and a bottle of Glögg 😍. For us it's not the first time we travelled to Lappland but we definitely say that this one was the best holiday we had. The cottage is 35 minutes away from Kittila airport and 40/45 minutes from Levi. We will surely come back!
