My husband, two teenage sons, and I stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip around the West Coast of Ireland. The house had everything needed and is in a great location-just a short walk into town. Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!

Cleggan Farm Holiday Cottages offers self-catering accommodation on Cleggan Farm, in the Connemara region of County Galway. Had a wonderful time at this very well-equipped and spacious cottage on a farm with beautiful surroundings. A really lovely place to relax by the coast, very scenic and a great base for sampling all that Connemara has to offer. The hosts, Josephine and Greg are so helpful and welcoming and provided great recommendations on touring and dining locally. We really enjoyed our stay at this property.

The place was lovely and clean with everything you could need, it’s like a home away from home but with 3 donkeys in the front and 2 cats at the side of the house.

It was peaceful, kids loved big playground near and all family, we developed love for tenis ( tennis courts at the site).House is home. We felt very comfortable, all we needed was there. Place is few minutes drive from Clifden town. We visited lovely beaches near and even our little dog Bruno enjoyed stay( first time swimming), as this place is pet friendly. All boxes ticked. We definitely return back.

It is on a main bus route, shop is 3 mins walk bar 6 mins walk, good restaurants within a short drive. Cottage has 3 good sized bedrooms 2 showers and a well equipped kitchen. great parking and a short walk to the beach.
