It's very spacious, cozy and just a few minutes walk from Minakami Fujiwara Ski resort (which is a very nice place especially for families). Even though the place is huge and an older building, it's very well maintained and super clean! The heating system is very very good, the whole place is warm and cozy! Having a big kitchen, washing machine, huge drying rack and all the amenities were a big plus! The hot spring bath water is so healing after a day out in the cold, with gorgeous views! The living room view is just breathtaking, OMG so stunning! Have a cup of hot coffee getting lost in the winter fairy tale view is just WOW <3 Simona, the owner is kind soul person, who accommodated our requests when needed. She is quick replying, fixing, coming by, even arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered to the house. We are very grateful to her! We were a big big group with lots of noisy kids plus 2 small babies and they could just feel free, play and be kids in the nature, enjoying the snow! The house is safe even for younger children with a bit of supervision! Just super super wonderful overall! :) Thank you for having us!

There was toilet on 2nd level where the bedrooms were and convenient for the senior and young. There were 2 washers and dryers which was a plus for long travel. There was a projection screen which helped entertained the little ones and the living room/communal place was cleverly designed with nice furniture and aesthetics. Importantly the house had good heating system for all rooms during the cold autumn which we all greatly appreciated.

Very clean and well prepared, we were left snacks and drinks by the host and felt so excited and welcome there. Amazing value for money too, would definitely recommend staying here! The walk into the centre of town is about half an hour because of the very steep hill leading down to the house which you have to walk up to get out, but it is not any reason not to stay here if that’s feasible for you.
