This is one of the prettiest places I’ve stayed. The cottages/bungalows are so charming with exquisite woodwork. It’s nestled among rice fields and easy bike ride to the Sukhothai historical park. The owners offer free bikes. They took such good care of our dietary needs, vegan and other restrictions. The place was so beautiful that we spent almost an entire day lounging on the porch of our bungalow. It has rocking chair, a divan to lie on, swing etc. The dad picked us up from bus stop and dropped us off too. I can’t recommend them enough

Our stay at The Yard Sukhothai was perfect. The apartment is a standalone little house with large windows overlooking a beautiful private garden, where we had breakfast every morning surrounded by trees and birds. The furniture is made of warm wood, the bed is comfortable, and it has all the necessary amenities to make you feel at home. The location is ideal if you want to explore Old Sukhothai: less than a 5-minute walk from the spectacular temple ruins, as well as the nightlife of the night market and the main street. Despite this, the apartment is on an incredibly quiet street where the only sounds are the animals around. Lastly, the host’s attention was unbeatable. She helped us with everything we asked for (motorbike rental, laundry, taxi to the airport…) Always with a smile, she made us feel the warmth of her hospitality. She also shared a folder full of recommendations for restaurants, tourist spots, and services. Sukhothai has been a wonderful surprise. We recommend getting lost on a scooter through the surrounding rice fields and visiting the temples at sunset. And our stay at The Yard made everything truly perfect.
