The room was fully made from wood and stone. Every morning the sun was waking us up and through the window we saw an autumn on the surrounded mountains. The breakfast was tasty and very local.

The hosts, Joan and Maria Angels were great, they were friendly and helpful. They told us about the history of the house that goes back to 1413. The conversations with them were interesting and insightful.

We went for a winter hiking trip from Ribes de Freser to Puigmal and stayed here in Queralbs for one of the nights of our hikes. It’s a lovely and cosy stay with incredible views over the mountains. With the cold temperatures, the fire place was a very welcome part of the living room. The hostess, Magna, was incredibly kind and even though my Spanish (or Catalan) isn’t the best - it was easy to communicate with each other! Highly recommend staying here if you are around the area.
