The hosts were absolutely fantastic and very accommodating. We had come from England to celebrate a friends birthday at a wedding venue close by. There was a bit of a language barrier but we were able to communicate very easily using Google translate on our phones. The location is remote so I’d recommend hiring a car. We didn’t hire a care but the hosts sorted our own private driver from the hotel to take us from place to place over the weekend and also back to Bari airport. You are able to order food and drinks using a QR code and they bring everything to you. Very helpful. It was very clean and the swimming pool was lovely. They recommended we eat at their restaurant one evening located in a local town close by and the service and food was excellent. They made us feel very comfortable and at home, the location is beautiful and we would love to visit again - 10 stars!

Well, everything! It's really great. Marcellos warm welcome, the equipment, the house itself, the garden... it was one of the most wonderful stays on our long journey. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more (ok, maybe a few smaller pots would be cool 😉), there's a big, strong dining table and little helpful tips everywhere. We also liked the sustainable living idea. The fireplace was nice to sit close to, even though it was too warm to fire it up. The bathroom is spacious with a big shower. All together we were really feeling like home and like living in a castle! It's a good place to visit many sites like Martina Franca, Alberobello, Loccorotondo, Matera, ... We'll definitely be back.
