I have visited Al Archa National Park around 35 - 40 km away from Bishkek city. 2nd Bosteri Issyk-Kul is also good place. ideal time to visit Issyk-Kul is in Summer (June - August). lots of videos are available on youtube, would recommend to watch them before travelling."
"A wonderful city full of mountains if you like climbing this will be great for you and the nightlife is not bad and the people speak Russian and are closer to Russian culture this applies to the young generation I was studying medicine in this city for a year and the experience was wonderful and life is not expensive you can live like a king for 400 dollars including everything like an apartment for a month and food and bills and outings .
From my experience, I recommend Fratelli Restaurant. It is an Italian-style restaurant and the only one that is open 24 hours. Most of the activities will be in the mountains."

At the same time trout is worth a try we ate it and grilled and fried and smoked and dried, for lovers of fish is the best. In excursions you need to be careful, the price is not said immediately, they are silent and after receiving the service very high price put and compare not with what. For example, 2 trout and riding on five horses for about half an hour cost almost 300$. If you do not take into account these things in principle a very good place for a vacation."

Lovely clean and modern hotel. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who was working the front desk when we stayed but he was really nice and attentive and made a lovely breakfast for us and was very helpful carrying bags etc. Great location and great value for money!

The hotel is really nice, rooms are new and shiny, decorated with traditional patterns, quiet at night. Personnel at the reception is very helpful and welcoming, they really helped us a lot during our stay, especially with bus tickets from KG to KZ. The breakfast is quite good, you can load yourself with 120-150 g of protein if you like, or have a delicious pastry for a cheat meal. The guests were mostly foreigners (non-CIS).

The area around Bosogo Yurt Camp is absolutely beautiful. You’ll be able to see the mountains with white glaciers right from the yurt, and the whole place is surrounded by apple trees. The traditional Kyrgyz food is really delicious and very filling.
We also added the night show performance and dinner — totally worth it.

Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere created by a caring family that went out of their way in making our stay the best it could be! They helped plan and organize our horse trek to Son-Kul lake on the spot without any prior reservations, taking a lot of hassle off of our hands. Their English is perfect which allowed us to get such that little closer to understanding the local culture and habits. And food was excellent so we didn’t have to think about that either.
