The studio was located in close proximity to Jardin de l'etat in a quiet street. It is a walking distance to the centre of Saint Denis. It is fully equipped, homely atmosphere. The hosts were always available to assist. The recommended walk along the river close to the property was very relaxing with a beautiful scenery.

After driving all the 400 bends to get to Cilaos, the house is pretty easy to navigate to (look for the white house with the blue windows and doors on the left side of the road).
The house is large and accommodates many guests - we were just 2 people. It was extremely useful having 1 full bathroom and a second toilet so we could quickly get ready in the mornings before hiking.
The kitchen area is large and well equipt with everything you might need. There is even a bbq and covered seating area in the garden if you have time to enjoy them.
We really appreciated the availability of the washing machine and he detergent provided. After a full day of hiking and swimming by the waterfalls, the clothes definitely needed cleaning!
The main road is a few minutes walk from the apartment with a great bakery open from 06:00. The shop renting hiking poles is just on the corner as you get to the main road and the supermarket is not too far down the main road. Note: not all restaurants open every evening and you may need to reserve a table. However, there are always food options around.

Probably the nicest place we stayed at during our trip to Réunion. The place was as described, clean and cosy, smelled nice and fresh, and friendly thoughtful notes to the customers around the house. Even had 2 free beers waiting for us in the fridge and 2 coffee/tea were available. We enjoyed the place, nice area to stay at, near Ti Sable beach.

we were fortunate enough to get two free upgrades so we were all in superior rooms( 3 bookings). The rooms were wonderful with great snacks, chocolates each night and a wonderful dinner and breakfast. we stayed for two nights and each night the dinner was the same, which is of course understandable but perhaps not so great if you are staying a long time.
With the difficult drive up to the lodge, you don't really want to eat out at night, so prepare to eat dinner there as well. the tasting menu is 95 euro pp.
