The Pamirs region offer some of the best high-altitude treks in the world, with beautiful sky-high scenery and the option of a breathtaking drive along the Pamir Highway. Equally wonderful excursions can be found along the border at the ruins of ancient Penjikent and the surrounding Fann Mountains. Tracing the Pyan River south from Khorog, the Wakhan Corridor is sprinkled with picturesque villages, ancient shrines and crumbling castle ruins. The corridor runs right up to the border so it’s possible to cross into Afghanistan and explore the Wakhan from the other side. A small number of large hotels are available in the capital city of Dushanbe, as well as apartments and hostels. Homestays can be found across most of the rural areas.

I stayed 5 nights here, The host is very helpful, The breakfast is good quality and good coffee, The room is clean, my flight at 4 am with free airport transfer and the host was on time, this place is a family business they are a great team work!

Everything was perfect! We slept here 2 nights. The owner and also the staff were really friendly. The room is big and clean, with all facilities you need. Big breakfast included. The owner arranged a daytrip to Haftkul / Seven Lakes for us with a really nice driver. You can ask him before about the possibilities and price. The hotel is really close to some restaurants, mini supermarkets and the bazaar of Panjakent. The owner speaks English which is a plus in Tajikistan. Definitely recommend to stay here if you go to Panjakent.
