La Fleur de Lys is housed in a 350 year-old building right in the centre of the medieval town of Gruyère, 400 metres from Gruyère Castle, the Giger Museum and the Tibet Museum. Great room, carved wooden bed and furniture, location was incredible just a walk from the Giger museum and bar right in the old town centre. Breakfast was good selections of meat fruit cheese bread and yogurts and the usual. Use of coffee machine in a beautiful lounge room with a log fire in the evenings in November. The staff were particularly helpful and made you feel very welcome.

The Hotel du Faucon with its 23 spacious rooms can be found only a few steps from the city centre and the train station, in a quiet, cobbled and pedestrianized street. Comfortable, clean room; plenty of storage space; convenient to restaurants
