Hotel Alfonso offers stylish accommodation in Zaragoza's old town, just 500 metres from the cathedral and the famous Pilar Basilica. It has a seasonal outdoor pool, a sun terrace and free WiFi. The positioning of the hotel was superb. I was running in the marathon, it was close to the start and the staff at the front desk were very kind to offer late checkout, meaning I could take a shower after the race. The room for the two of us and our 8 year old daughter was excellent and great value

Location is outstanding! Directly across the Pilar Plaza from Basilica de Pilar. We had he best view from our balcony. Rooms are smallish but perfectly adequate and very comfortable. €10. breakfast is very good value. Staff were amazing, extremely helpful and friendly.
