This hotel is in an excellent location for a vacation in the Scottish borders, right on the main road of Melrose. The staff was excellent. They were very nice and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and in a peaceful environment. Highly recommend.

Built in 1761, Ednam House Hotel combines the convenience of a Kelso town centre location with the luxury of three acres of riverside gardens to explore, providing a mix of homely relaxation, fine... Lovely old house, great views and a delicious breakfast. Oh, and a lovely big bath!

We were offered the use of the area for dinner if we had wanted to get takeaway. That type of flexibility is nice when you have been traveling for a while.
