We love the Salty Monk this is the second time we have stayed it’s very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful garden and lots of parking.

The Olive Branch was a great find on our road trip down the Devon coast to Cornwall. Our host Jo was so welcoming and provides everything you could ask for to make a perfect stay. The location is in the perfect spot to enjoy walks to the harbour and promenade as well as the local pubs and restaurants. Our room was spacious very clean, and the decor was very inviting. I loved the comfy seat at the window that offers a view to the sea, but my favourite was definitely bath tub that sits on a platform in the room. Breakfast was excellent, we had a choice of a cook to order hot dish which is served with buffet style continental options. Jo took the time to chat and gave us lots of tips for exploring Ilfracombe and the surrounding areas which was very helpful to two Australians who had not been in the area before . Such a lovely place to stay & relax within a charming village. We enjoyed an amazing dinner & breakfast too. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer!

Although it was only two days we wished we had booked for a longer period we have already decided to book for a longer period next time. Our congratulations go to the staff who made our stay very comfortable, also the food was exceptionally good congratulations to the chef/s. In 5 acres of landscaped gardens, this hotel has magnificent views over Sidmouth and the coastline. It offers award-winning food, free parking, and has a lift that accesses every floor.

We had a truly fabulous stay at Anran. From the moment we arrived, the staff and owners were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, making us feel completely at home.
