The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel is a Grade II listed property nestled within unspoilt countryside and 5 minutes’ drive from a scenic coastal walk. Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks can both be reached in less than an hour’s drive. The property also has more than 8 acres of landscaped grounds for guests to enjoy. The pub hotel is excellent, very comfortable, friendly staff and the food is very high quality at breakfast you need to be hungry.

The location and property was amazing, Fantastic Hosts so helpful and friendly wealth of local knowledge would definitely recommend and would love to visit again. 7

Less than 30 minutes’ drive from Exeter city centre, New Inn in Coleford provides luxurious rooms and high-quality dining. With free Wi-Fi and parking, this Devon inn serves a range of West Country cask ales and local specialities. Everything! The setting was idyllic, storybook-like, the food was delicious, hospitality of the owners was wonderful and everything was very clean. I would like to stay there again.

The ambiance, cozy fire, friendliness of the hosts, well-appointed furnishings, and a great breakfast were some of the best I've had. I would definitely stay here again
