The setting is absolutely breathtaking, with uninterrupted mountain views and a real sense of peace and escape. The rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable, the common areas inviting, and the food exceptional. Staff were welcoming, attentive and genuinely proud of the region, offering thoughtful recommendations that made the stay even more special.

The stone Avragonio is located 300 metres from Papigo Village centre. Built according to the local, traditional architecture, it features accommodation with fireplace and Tymfi Mountain views. Amazing views and breakfast. Very kind staff.

This was my first stay at Aithrio, and it can only be described as the perfect 3-day holiday. The room was exactly like the pictures. It was super comfortable, warm and really clean with a lovely fireplace. The best part was our wonderful host, Olga that went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She had a ton of information on what activities to do in the area was really friendly and inviting. And the breakfast she makes every morning set us up perfectly for a long day of exploring Zagoroxoria.

It is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful nature of the Zagoria region and its stone villages, of which Yorgos, as a lifetime resident of the area, has encyclopedic knowledge. We let his suggestions guide our visit and they were perfect! And be prepared to be wowed by the breakfast, which is included in the price of the room. It is banquet-size and delicious. Besides yogurt, honey, marmalades, cut fruit, cheese pie, fruit pastry, and sliced salami, ham, and cheese, the breakfast includes coffee and eggs served as you like.
