The large room with full kitchen. Serena went out of her way to help me get a pair of pants hemmed. Very responsive to questions and made excellent suggestions for travel to other sites. Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. The staff were outstanding. The hotel was excellent.

This was an exceptional stay; the hotel is an easy walk from the parking available to tourists, and you are immediately transported by the charm and beauty of Assisi. The room was beautiful, blending an ancient construction (very deep window wells and stone walls in the breakfast room) with all the modern conveniences. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in during our two weeks in Italy. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of main dishes that were prepared on the spot and sweet baked goods, espresso and juices. The homemade crostata was incredible.
