This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. The private waterfall was the highlight of this property. Plus the decor, interior and view from the property was wonderful. Great hospitality provided by the team. You can easily spend a day or two exploring the 98 acres.

Overall, stay was pleasant, and we as a family enjoyed a lot. The food and rooms were superb. Lobby restaurant (bar) service is top-notch and very Frednly. Even pool attendants were so friendly.

Brilliant, intelligent architecture. I extended my stay at the hotel because I liked it so much. I highly recommend joining a guided tour of the hotel and also walking through both wings on your own — you will never see the same natural views repeated. The buffet was outstanding — it felt like a celebration. I have never seen such an impressive variety of choices anywhere else. The rooms are cozy and compact, and I slept very well. The staff were attentive and responsive, and they helped us resolve an issue in the room quickly. I also recommend going birdwatching: there is a beautiful lake nearby. A non-motorized boat ride at 6:30 a.m. is an absolute pleasure.
