Lovely room and really nice, welcoming staff lovely food and seating areas it also felt like home the Wi-Fi was also very quick and good and that it’s located in a good area for people who need to buy hiking gear and close to the airport the room is also cosy and comfortable overall we really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

I chose the property because of its location. I was blown away by how comfortable the place was and how friendly the staff and the ownership were. They even offered to upgrade me to the executive suite from my junior suite when the owner found out that my wife and daughter were joining me after my trek.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. Quiet spot away from busy streets, breakfast and room facilities. Heater works fine in the winter period and there is always hot water. Price is acceptable for the quality of the stay.
