Also, maybe it says it in the description but we didn't realize that the rooms have a legit kitchen equipped with nearly everything you'd need. Even a wine bottle opener!

Located less than 2 miles from Cedar Point amusement park and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark, this hotel features free WiFi access and an outdoor swimming pool. This is the closest hotel in Sandusky to Cedar Point. The lady on the front desk was so lovely. The hotel/room was clean, rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Nothing was too much bother for the staff. The hotel smelt great as soon as we walked in. Fantastic proximity to CP for the price.

Every suite at Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Columbus includes a fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area and a sofa bed. A coffee machine is also offered. The rooms were nice and clean but no linen for the pull out bed in the room so I couldn't use it overall room are good. Went in pretty late, they had free coffee and cookies for me . Lobby is very nice lady at the counter was nice. Breakfast was very good. but no hot breakfast. Overall very good stay here . worth recommending.
