Very efficient check-in/check-out system, ample parking space, high quality European breakfast. Everything is very clean. In the room we found a very useful booklet with detailed description of local points of interest. Very friendly hosts.

We have stayed in Newgale before, there are no facilities in the village., unless you need to buy a wheelbarrow! The beach is amazing and the views of it from the property are priceless and there’s always something going on, surfers, kite surfers, etc. We spent many hours walking along it, but we’re sorry to see that the council had decided not to maintain the boardwalks, anyone with mobility issues would struggle to get over the cobble hill which borders the beach.
We self catered most of the time as we travelled with an anti social dog! Our aim was to eat as much fresh seafood as possible during our 6 days and we achieved this by buying crab, lobster and fresh mackerel from Mrs Wills and Something fishy, just up the road in Solva.
There’s a very expensive general store in Solva for convenience but there are bigger cheaper supermarkets in Haverfordwest.
We visited Broadhaven, Littlehaven and St David’s just a few miles either way from Newgale. We would definitely return

Newgale is an excellent spot if you want to camp or surf. I was only staying overnight but I enjoyed it and got up early to climb the coast path to look down on Newgale the morning of departure.
It was a good place to stay.

Lovely building with clean fresh decor and amazing view.
Lovely building with clean fresh decor and amazing view. The bedding did smell stale or damp and there was an odd smell on one day that smelt a bit like cabbage or sewage. If House split into 2 and if you are upstairs as you don't have access to the hotbub so be aware! Overall a lovely stay. leave the swimmers and bring some fabreeze and youll be grand

Newgale is a lovely location for a peaceful break.
Newgale is a lovely location for a peaceful break. Lots of locations to visit at short distance. Room at the Duke of Edinburgh was clean and I liked the idea of self check, plain and simple access. If I was to be a little critical I would look at up dating the bed matresses apart from that a great stay was had by us both.
