“The apartment is very well stocked with equipment, the washing machine particularly came in useful. The owners left a good stock of towels and linen. There are some wonderful walks from the apartment, make sure that you bring a map of the area though as some are not entirely signposted. Photograph shows the wonderful views that you can get using a path from the apartment. As we were using public transport to get around there was regular bus service that ran from Oviedo to Cangas de Onis that ran through the village and also it had a train station (Feve network) which we also used. If you are 60 or over you can get an annual card Tarjeta Dorada cost 6 euros which you can save 40-50% off your fare. There is a local shop in the village which we used regularly though it did not have a wide range of food but the owners were very friendly and helpful.”
