«Okta and his family are the most amazing Indonesian people we met so far. I have never met so friendly, helpful and funny people before. Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by a bad scooter accident where a scooter driver crashed into us and the two scooters got completely damaged and my friend broke his hand. When I called Okta from ZONA homestay he immediately drove to us with his friend Samsu and spent most of the day with us to go to the police and to hospital to translate everything. After it we got a delicious lunch for free from his mother. We spent the rest of the day in his comfortable room, which are very nice. We decided to take the first flight to Bali the next morning for going to the hospital there and Okta and his family got up at 3 am (!!) and even made breakfast for us! Okta drove us to the bus terminal and helped us to catch a fast and very cheap transport to the airport. I‘m writing that because I really wish that many people come to ZONA homestay to get in touch with the amazing owners. This is in my opinion the most important thing of an accommodation. But also they offer great tours to all the many Gili islands which I would love to do the next time. Okta, I‘m very grateful for all you did and I hope we can come again one day!
