Also the location is ideal. Right next to 4 of the top 5 restaurants in Trincomalee on trip advisor. The walk to the beach is also only about 5 minutes. Given in Uppuveli you can either be next to nice restaurants or next to beach (the beach side restaurants aren't very nice) i would definitely choose this way around.
Also I know others had issues with cold showers but whilst I was there this was not a problem. The water was warm enough in the morning not to be unpleasant and by afternoon when the sun had presumably been shining on the tank the showers were very warm!”

“I ended up staying 3 night more than intended, mostly because I was waiting for the sea to get less rough and then go to pigeon island, but also because it was so nice at Little White House. The manager really does everything to make it as pleasant stay as possible.
In the morning we got eggs, toast and fruit + coffee/tea. For dinner the manager cooked very good food for us.
The beach is only 5 minutes walk from the guest house. There is around 3-4 restaurants in the area as well.
I give it 10/10 in the perspective, that it is a guesthouse, not a hotel. It very good value for the money.”
