“It was a perfect stay. The owners were really kind, bringing fresh bread daily and taking care of any need that we could have. The house is a delightful stone build house perfectly renovated , the furniture and decoration are in line with the old style house. With heat in all the house rooms and 2 chimneys, you feel the comfort of a modern house with the enchant of an old one. Bathroom in all the bedrooms made our stay more convenient. The town has 2 supermarkets and several restaurants and has some walking routes with many animals that the kids will enjoy.”

The host couple is very nice and friendly, they came several times to check on us, and brought additional staff to use and gave us some tips regarding the walks to do in the natural reserve. The house is very authentic (protected by the government) but comfortable to stay, with all modern facilities in the kitchen and in the bathroom, heating, etc. It is divided into two part with a walkway linking both parts on the 1st floor in the internal courtyard. So you feel like in a separate house. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, and the house is easy to access by car (4 km from the village Laboreiro, also possible by a walk but the relief is quite challenging)”
